I hadn’t heard from him in 3 days now. The past two nights I’ve waited up til 1 or 2 hoping he’ll call before I fall asleep. It was like clock work when we talked the first half and now its kinda sporadic. But we had talked almost every night this week. So I get used to it and when I go a few days without hearing from him, I try not to let it worry me but it does. I know it seems like that is all I am ever talking about but that’s my life right now. Waiting. Waiting to hear from him, waiting for him to come back home to me, waiting to start the next chapter of my life. I know I have a wedding up ahead and I think about it trust me. I’ve got all kinds of ideas on what I hope to have. I even wrote a rough draft on my vows the other night cause I was wide awake at 3:30 and for some reason it all just started coming to me. I can’t wait to marry him. I can’t wait to start my life with him. But more than anything, I can’t wait for the day when he is home and steps off the bus and I know its not just a two week visit. That he is home for good and this deployment is behind us. All of this is behind us and I never have to miss him this bad again.

I did something so illegal and something I’ve always had the urge to do but never would do. Classic example of what peer pressure will do to you. I was on my way home and there was a bad accident infront of me. Traffic had completely stopped right after the last exit to get off at before my exit. So I sat there for about 20 minutes not moving at all and everyone around me started turning around and back up the exit the wrong way. So I did a U-turn on 85 and did the same thing. All the cops in the area were at the wreck so I was good. Haha.

And that afternoon I was on my way to the library after my class in Aderhold. I have to walk through the park where the homeless people play cards, checkers and chess (and occassionally you spot a transvestite) and I passed a homeless man when the coolest shirt on. It said:

Haha! That freakin cracked me up. I’ll admit it I LOLed.
