So I hadn’t really let myself think too much about the wedding. Not by choice but because all I can really concentrate is Craig coming home. The closer that gets though, the more I’m starting to see everything else we have to look forward to together. I’m a visual person, so I thought it would be fun to post my wedding ideas here. So I can see it myself and share it with whoever reads my blog. Here is some of what I have so far…

my aunt and uncle’s house, the ceremony will be over to the left of the house overlooking the pond, the reception will either be in the back or on the other side of the house. hadn’t decided yet.

a sign like i want to have at the end of their driveway and something similar to what i have in mind for the programs (on fans since its outside)…

my flowers–gerber daisies, and the colors I want.

I’m hoping to write letters to each guest that we have thanking them for being apart of our day and our lives. (I’ve already started on them. hehe) I want to hang them kind of like this on clothes lines.

the bridesmaid dresses, except we got the ones that are all satin. these have the netting fabric on them. the satin ones looked prettier

emma’s flower girl “bucket”. well this isn’t the actual bucket but you know what i mean. this is something like what she will have.

That’s all I got pictures of so far. In a month when Craig is home and we can set the date, I’m sure I will be posting tons more. For not having a date set, I think I’m doing ok.

• I have the caterer (my aunt’s niece),
• about 3 or 4 photographers I have in mind,
• DJ/ceremony music (just a matter of getting in touch with him when we set the date)
• Hadn’t really thought about a cake yet.
• Transportation from the reception to the hotel. Or at least an idea of what I want.
• I’ve even written my vows. (that’s what not being able to fall asleep at night will do to you)
• I know what I’m doing for centerpieces, its just a matter of getting it together and doing it. I’m going to get those galvanized tin watering pails and put flowers in them. And pictures of Craig and I when we were little and now together.
• And I’m doing my own invitations but I’m still playing around with what I want to do.

It’s all kinda coming together. I can’t believe how close it’s getting!

i took my last college final tonight! talk about a relief! but what a crazy feeling! its exciting, but a really strange feeling at the same time. everything that i’ve waited all year for is finally starting to happen. waiting on craig to call then off to bed…night!
