So excited about the holidays. About decorating our home. About spending it TOGETHER. Such a difference than from last year. Thankful to have Craig home. To have him home SAFE. Just wasn’t feelin’ Christmas as much last year as I am this one. And it has a lot to do with being able to decorate our home together for the first time and start our own family traditions. But a HUGE part of it has to do with the fact that I realized what it could be like. And it’s given me a much better appreciation for how it is this year. So thankful.
Thankful for him.
For my family.
For my amazing friends.
For a job that I am loving.
For our home.
I’m just excited. And happy. And TOTALLY in the Christmas spirit.
I have my weigh in tomorrow. Should be interesting. I gained last week. It was a combo of being out of town, Jenny’s wedding, the drinking I did, and Thanksgiving lunch. But it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. So I’m a little nervous about it tomorrow.
Anyways, just thought I’d update a little bit. Not much to update, just taking it all in. I love this time of year. It makes me happy. Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving last week. We spent it with my mom’s side of the family at a dude ranch in Madison. We had a really good time.

I’m so glad today is Friday.
So glad we’re headed to Florida tomorrow.
I love my job.
I really do.
And I’m slowly learning how to leave work at work.
I’ve never had a job like this before.
The kind where you hit the door running on the way in and don’t slow down until you walk out.
The kind where work will inevitably be left on your desk for the following day.
I love what I’m doing so it makes it so much easier to go to work everyday.
But I’m sooooooooo thankful to have a break from it this next week.
We’re on our way to Orlando for Jenny and Michael’s wedding.
Be back Wednesday to spend Thanksgiving with the family (at a Dude Ranch in Madison, what what!)

This week has been crazy eventful.

Work has been stressing me out.
Looking forward to this upcoming week, with very little court!
Went to Jenny’s Bachelorette party.
I can’t believe she’s a little over a week away from getting married.
Craig and I are really looking forward to our vacation in Orlando!
Can’t wait.
Much needed.
Lost 4.2 pounds my first week of Weight Watchers.
Probably gained it all back after Jenny’s Bachelorette party last night. 
Bailey got adopted!
I really liked the family and I think she’s going to be really happy.
I called to check on her today and she seems to be adjusting to her new family well.
We’re taking a break from doing it right now til after the holidays and then we’ll decide if we want to do it again.
Ready to get my haircut I think.
I’m just trying to find the right one, and panicking a little at the thought having that much hair cut off.
I have bad haircut experiences.
Very bad.
Like Mary Lou Retton style in the fourth grade and grew out 3 times bigger than what it was when I got it cut kind of bad.
And yes, I still hold on to that even this many years later.
I’m looking at something like this, but we shall see:

- I have been in a foul mood lately, but I’m getting better.
- I bought a book that I am totally loving. So freakin’ inspiring!
- I am starting Weight Watchers tomorrow night. I’ve gained some weight since Craig and I got married and I’m going to get it off. And I guess WW is suppose to be a support team. But I see it as a competition. Me against them. And I don’t like to lose (at competitions that is). So dieting and weight isn’t such a talked about subject. But I’m posting it on my blog to hold myself accountable for the next 10 weeks starting tomorrow. A gym membership was an option, but it’s not like I’d actually use it.
- Speaking of weight loss, Craig and I have just watched The Biggest Loser for the first time and it’s actually a really cool show.

This dog rocks, seriously. The family who gets her us going to be so lucky. - I’m off to watch Laguna Beach and then to bed. We’ve had jury trials this week and have been crazy busy.
